Sandy Weiss is a registered nurse with a passion for process improvement and management principles. Dr. Weiss earned her Doctor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Healthcare Management from Saint Leo University. Dr. Weiss is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS). She also holds a graduate certificate in Innovation and Human Centered Design from The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

Dr. Weiss has put her degrees, certifications, and skills to use working within project and operations management, business development, risk management, patient safety, and healthcare quality. Her dissertation explored the relationship between Registered Nurse emotional intelligence, turnover intention, and job performance. She continues to support research efforts that can help improve the lives of healthcare professionals and the companies for which they work and support. Dr. Weiss is proud to help develop the next generation of healthcare leaders by teaching Healthcare Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
